We're Looking for Volunteers and Homecoming Float Ideas
Sheffany Roberts is the lead for creating the Homecoming Float and we're looking for volunteers to help decorate it and ideas about a theme. Please inquire with Sheffany via email (alaskimo at hotmail.com) or phone (281-732-6802) with ideas and/or offers to help.
October 16th, Thursday:
- 6 pm parade (meet at 5:30 pm, the First Baptist Church, 111 E.Heritage)
- 7 pm pep rally (Chase Bank parking lot)
October 17th, Friday:
- 1 pm tours of the High school available and open house
- 6:30 pm pre-game activities
- 7 pm game
- Half-time Class of ‘89 on the field
- After the game - reception in the library
October 18th, Saturday:
- 11-2:30 lunch at Stevenson Park family picnic (bring your kids); teachers are welcome to attend
- 7 pm-12 Evening at Cullen's Upscale American Grille (dinner, dancing, awards, etc)

Cancelling Hotel Reservations in Galveston
- Moody Gardens: you can call 888-388-4936 to cancel and you won’t be penalized for cancelling your room reservation, per Ms/Mrs. Viera, the Sales Mgr.
- The Tremont is closed due to damage and their mgt. is calling guests to cancel their reservations.
- The Hotel Galvez: you can cancel up to 72 hours prior to arrival and you won’t be penalized.

Class of ‘89 is having our 20th reunion this year and this site is what we’re using for purchasing tickets, posting information and collaborating. Signing up for an account gives you a blog and a way to update everyone about yourself.
